Eumel was a rock biter prince, tender hearted but unfortunately also very lonely. He didn’t have any friends, all around him they feared him for his strength and grinding jaw. But of course that was nonsense! He only liked to grind delicious rocks and nothing else! One day he slept so long, that he slept in fact several days. He thought he was still dreaming, but this cheerfull chirrup sounded so real and so close. The prince decided to open his eyes. What was that? Delighted he pushed the rock-collector-bucket a bit. Water, which gathered in the bucket while the prince had slept, spluttered around. Paralysed by fear and not chirruping anymore, the merle eyed him anxiously. With a soft voice he said, “You built your nest at the safest place in the forest.” The merle listened to him, looked right into his heart and finally she decided to trust him. And that’s how the little prince overcome his loneliness and became friend of all the animals in the forest.
This piece shows exemplary work with prespective and lighting, and man, the linework, jeez...
Anyway, this piece show sthat ot was worked on for many hours, every detail being perfected.
I must say, I only get a little of whats happening here. The character just seems to be sitting there...
This dude looks like the tin man, Ill tell you. I thought of the word Oz when I saw him. Nethertheless he is an amazing character and he has a very talented artist to draw him. I absolutely loved this work.
This is a really unique piece of art, though it did make me think of the tin man. First of all, I really love how this creature looks. Its something I could definitely see being a character in a book. Next, I have to say the detail is just incredible! Like the trees in the back, the flowers on the ground, even the moss on the rock. And not only is this a great picture, but it has a great story to go with it. This is full of uniqueness, originality, and overall this is a wonderful picture, and deserves the DD.
